CopperZap Water™ is pure water with a small amount of pure copper added.

People use it for places you can't reach directly with a CopperZap®, such as deep in the throat against flu viruses or strep bacteria.  It can also be used in the ear.

If you have a CopperZap®, it is easy to make CopperZap Water™.

Start with a few ounces of distilled water.  Distilled water absorbs copper faster than tap water and avoids the impurities often found in tap water.  Distilled water is available at low cost in many grocery stores.

Use a small glass or jar, put a clean CopperZap® in it, handle first. Tilt the glass or jar almost all the way over on its side leaning on something stable.  Put just enough distilled water in the glass or jar to cover most of the handle.  The idea is to get a small amount of water in contact with a large amount of copper surface, so the water quickly absorbs a bit of copper.  Let it sit 1 hour or so.  Swish the water around a few times to mix better.

This should make about 2-3 ounces of water with a small but significant copper content.  Dry the CopperZap® well afterward, because copper tarnishes fast with any moisture on it, though tarnish does not reduce its germ-killing effect.

For bigger batches in larger containers let it sit ½ hour or more per ounce of distilled water, stirring at least once per hour.  Store in a glass container.  Room temperature is ok.  Keep 2-3 oz handy so you can use it right away if you suddenly feel soreness deep in your throat.

Flu often starts as a sore spot deep in the back of the throat.  The flu viruses causing the sore spot are already multiplying fast, so don't wait.  Minutes matter.

Normal sore throat problems that are not very deep in the throat often come from the nose, by post-nasal drip, and can be dealt with by using the CopperZap® in the nose.

If a sore throat doesn’t go away by an hour after using your CopperZap® in your nose, sip or gargle tiny amounts of CopperZap Water™.  Try to feel the water slowly dribbling over the sore spot so the pure copper can kill the germs lurking there before they spread too far to be stopped.  Use about an ounce at a time.  Repeat every half hour or until the soreness is completely gone, but do not sip more than 5 ounces total in a day.

CopperZap Water™ is not for regular drinking.  If you drink it too often or too much, the copper can affect beneficial microbes in the stomach and digestive track.  So do not drink over 5 ounces a day or over 15 ounces in a month.

When needed, a little is good, a lot is not.
